Como House & Garden Update

The National Trust has been looking closely at Como House & Garden and how we can develop a sustainable business model that will secure its long term future. Following a period of consultation, The National Trust Board has agreed to proposed changes in Como's operations.

The Trust will apply to Stonnington Council for a new permit for a range of works to improve community accessibility and facilities at Como.

Como is also moving from a seven-day-a-week to a bookings-based operating model. From Tuesday 10 April Como will not be open to walk up visitors. In the short term however, the site will continue to be available for bookings covering group tours of 10 or more people, as well as events and private functions. The Trust apologises for any inconvenience that these temporary changes may cause to people who wish to visit on a day-to-day basis over the coming months
