Employment & Volunteers

Employment

As the leading operator of historic houses and other heritage attractions in Victoria, the National Trust of Australia (Victoria) employs staff at both head office and at its open properties.

  • The National Trust advertises all vacant positions on this site.
  • Check for current vacancies. Full details.

Volunteers

Volunteers also play a vital role at all our properties and events across the state.

If you are interested in helping preserve our heritage by making a regular commitment to a property or helping at events, please see our volunteer information.

Volunteers Wanted

The National Trust is in regular need of committed volunteers to assist with maintaining its activities throughout the state. Volunteers support a small paid staff at Head Office and at our historic properties by generously giving their time, expertise and experience.

Why not consider extending your experience, learning new skills and enriching your life by becoming involved as a volunteer with the National Trust. Orientation and training will be provided. A regular commitment of at least one day a fortnight, over a 12-month period, is generally required.

Help us to protect Victoria's heritage by undertaking a regular volunteer commitment!
