Human Resources Manager

The National Trust of Australia (Victoria) is a not for profit membership based organisation committed to the conservation and appreciation of our built and natural heritage.

This busy role reports to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for all aspects of the Human Resources function for approximately 100 paid staff and over 800 volunteers. The position is based in East Melbourne.

As HR Manager, you will have a great opportunity to develop and manage the implementation of HR initiatives and processes across the business, to support skills development and people management.

Knowledge of OHS regulations is required as the role also includes ensuring compliance with the relevant legislation and implementing programs to promote this knowledge across the organisation.

Your proven commercial awareness will ensure the effective contribution of the HR function to the commercial success and efficent operation of the National Trust.

Tertiary or post graduate qualifications in an appropriate discipline and relevant experience is required for this role, as is a thorough understanding of the human resource function, change management and building a positive organisational culture.
