Leach’s Cottage by the Railway is a faithfully restored, simple 1898 miner’s cottage, nowadays providing romantic self-contained accommodation for the discerning who visit Maldon.
The cottage has an open fire and wood fire stove, and is appropriately appointed with antique furniture.
The main bedroom has a double iron bed dressed in traditional style.
Conveniences include electric kitchen appliances, heating, laundry facilities, electric blankets, television and a radio.
There is a deep, claw- footed bath with old fashioned shower and screen fitted in the bathroom.
