Statement of Cultural Heritage Significance:
CITATION A somewhat unusually planned and very attractive provincial church, designed by Nathaniel Billing and begun in 1855, with additions in 1861 and 1864 and at other times, ultimately producing a plan with effectively two parallel naves. To this was added a tower by Terry and Oakden in 1879, but the intended spire was never executed.
