Statement of Cultural Heritage Significance:
A two storey house built in 1857 in early Victorian Gothic character with steeply pitched gables ornamented with elaborately carved barge boards and crowned by quarters of angled chimney; from 1876-1907 occupied by Captain Boyd - progenitor of the Boyd family of artists.
