Overlooking the Barwon River, Newtown, the picturesque grounds of National Trust property Barwon Grange offer the picture setting for all weddings.
Built in 1855 and shaded by lush trees, the house boasts many ceremony locations: the Moreton Bay Fig Tree, the spacious verandah and the central fountain. Lined with beautiful trees, the driveway provides the perfect entrance for a bride. The colours and architecture of this romantic house and garden also create a gorgeous backdrop for wedding photographs and receptions.
Whether it is an intimate garden ceremony, or a sit down reception overlooking the Barwon River, Barwon Grange can provide the ideal setting for all weddings.

WEDDING CEREMONIES |
The property is ideal for garden wedding ceremonies. Photography, carpet, chairs and a signing table are no extra charge and there is no time limit. |

COSTS (Payment in full is required to secure a booking) |
All costs include the use of the grounds (no guests are permitted into the house, unless having a house tour) |

CEREMONY FEES |
$350 (2 1/2 hours). This includes the use of: 30 x black folding chairs, a signing table, red carpet (3.6m x 1m), the conservatory to serve pre/post ceremony refreshments (please note: the refreshments are NOT provided by Barwon Grange), grounds for post ceremony photographs |

RECEPTION/ FUNCTION FEES |
$400 (5 hours). This includes the use of: 30 x black folding chairs, the conservatory to serve refreshments, the kitchen to prepare food and drink, 4 x trestle tables, use of grounds for photography |

CEREMONY AND RECEPTION PACKAGE FEES |
$500 (6 hours). This includes the use of: 30 x black folding chairs, a signing table, a red carpet (3.6m x 1m), the conservatory to serve pre/post ceremony refreshments, the kitchen to prepare food and drink, 4 x trestle tables, use of grounds for photography |

PHOTOGRAPHY ONLY FEES |
$75 (1 hour). This includes the use of the grounds |

GENERAL INFORMATION |
CANCELLATIONS: In the event of a cancellation refunds are not available DAMAGES: The hirer/s is responsible for any loss or damage to the property & its grounds as a result of any action by their guests DECORATING: The hirer/s may decorate the verandah but no nails permitted LIGHTING: Barwon Grange has minimal outside lighting, any extra lighting required will have to be provided by the hirer/s. OTHER: No confetti, glitter, scatters or bubbles (guest should use flower petals instead), red wine is not permitted on the verandah or flagstones near the courtyard PARKING: Parking is available for guests on the grass (Sadler’s Paddock) next to the house (entrance off Fernleigh Street) PAYMENT: Payment in full is required when making a booking RUBBISH: Removal of rubbish is the responsibility of the hirer/s SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted on the premises (there are two containers for cigarette butts outside entrance gate) TOURS: The interior of the historic house can be open for a prescribed time for guided tours for your guests at $3 per person |
